Plummet – Damaged

With the brand new mixes of Damaged by Plummet, I just can’t get enough of this track right now! And it’s so darn good, there are two different videos for it.

Plummet – Damaged (Video Cut 1)

Plummet – Damaged (Video Cut 2)

So who are Plummet? The track was written by Miami based producer DJ Eric B Muniz and as far as I know this is his first big hit single. Vocals are by Nikki, and the fresh new mixes are by Antillas, Neo & Farina, and Arctica. The Antillas mix is the one featured on the video. CHOON!!Here’s the lyrics:

Dreaming comes so easily
Cause it’s all that I’ve known
True love is a fairytale
I’m damaged, so how would I know?

I’m scared and I’m alone
I’m shamed and I need for you to know

I didn’t say all the things that I wanted to say
And you can’t take back what you’ve taken away
Cause I feel you, I feel you near me
I didn’t say all the things that I wanted to say
And you can’t take back what you’ve taken away
Cause I feel you, I feel you near me

Feeling comes so painfully
And it chills to the bone
Will anyone get close to me
I’m damaged, as I’m sure you know

I’m scared and I’m alone
I’m shamed and I need for you to know

I didn’t say all the things that I wanted to say
And you can’t take back what you’ve taken away
Cause I feel you, I feel you near me
I didn’t say all the things that I wanted to say
And you can’t take back what you’ve taken away
Cause I feel you, I feel you near me

There’s only for my soul
And undo this fear
Forgiveness for a man
Who was stronger
I was just a little girl
But I can’t look back

I didn’t say all the things that I wanted to say
And you can’t take back what you’ve taken away
Cause I feel you, I feel you near me
I didn’t say all the things that I wanted to say
And you can’t take back what you’ve taken away
Cause I feel you, I feel you near me

Can’t go back…
Can’t go back…
Can’t go back…
Can’t go back…
I can’t go back…
I can’t go back…
I can’t go back..
I must go on…
I must go on…
I must go on…
I must go on…
I must go on…
I must go on…
I must go on….

MG Rover Group Give Maximum Value To Customers Through Groundbreaking Initiative

With Summer almost upon us, now is a great time to get that MGTF you deserve! 🙂

MG Rover Group has announced a groundbreaking initiative, ‘Bring us any genuine offer and we’ll beat it’ ‘S a programme of far ranging offers that will be of great interest to all purchasers of new cars.

Consumer offers have traditionally been focused on one or two key elements such as free insurance or a low cost finance package. MG Rover Group were first to offer the innovative and popular ‘Free Fuel’ campaign and this new approach recognises that every customer has a different purchase requirement.

The ‘Bring us any genuine offer and we’ll beat it’ programme, encourages customers of new MG and Rover cars to select their preference from a wide range of options. This may include one or more of the following:

Fuel until 2004*

LPG Band 4 conversion

0% Finance*

Additional extras (options and accessories)Track day experience (MG only)

2 or 3 years’ servicing

Deposit contribution

Money Off*

1 year’s insurance (UK mainland only)*

Cash back

Low finance*

* Specific terms and conditions apply

Commenting on this innovative programme, John Sanders, MG Rover Group Sales and Marketing Director, explained: “Our approach recognises that every customer will have a different purchase requirement. The wide choice of options is tailored to meet individual needs and thus give customers exactly what they want. Whatever incentive other manufacturers offer, quite simply, we’ll beat it. Whether customers want insurance, cash-back, servicing, interest free finance, deposit contributions, we can provide the best range of offers in the marketplace.”

The purchase options are available on all new MG and Rover cars registered between 1 April and 30 June 2003. LPG Band 4 conversions are available on all 1.6- and 1.8-litre Rover and MG saloon cars (excluding the MG ZR 160 / Express 160).

Spring 2003 Videos

I’ve added some fresh new videos to the Video Chart. First off is Crazy Sexy Marvellous by Paffendorf. It’s their follow-up single to “Be Cool” which made the UK Top 10 last year. Watch out though, the video really ”is” Crazy Sexy (and Marvellous!). This single is out in the UK today on Data Records

Now, check back to my September 2001 dance chart, you’ll see a track by Plummet called Damaged. I just love the lyrics to this track- I’ll post them up here soon! Well, it’s been bubbling around but it’s been re-released in the UK with some new remixes. Check out this great video here. The vid is fillmed near where I used to live, in Docklands, London! The track is released today on Serious Records.

If you want something catchy (cheesy?), check out Free (Let It Be) by Stuart. It’s getting a UK release soon. Other vids worth checking – Chicane’s Love On The Run and Tomcaraft’s Loneliness
Full video chart is here.

April 2003 Dance Chart

This month’s chart is topped by a hugely catchy 3rd single by “4 Strings” called “Let It Rain”. It’s in a similar style to their previous releases by with strong lyrics from this Benelux-based group. Check it! “Janeiro” by “Solid Sessions” finally got a US release during March – it features some new remixes and the Marc Et Claude & Paul Hutsch Remix brings this track into the number 2 spot.
Haunting lyrics from “Ghostland” sees their “Guide Me God” release move to 3rd place. The remixers on this release include Junior Vasquez and Paul Van Dyk, but the Jet Extended Mix is my fave, with a catchy piano chorus.
Other highlights on this month’s chart include a brand new remix and vocals of Rank 1’s classic “Airwave”. The newly updated version is called “Dreaming”. Check out Rank 1’s website here. NICE! The 3rd single from DJ Sammy’s “Heaven” album is likely to be “Sunlight” and it already features mixes by Minimalistix. Also check out “Someday” by Rezonance Q (Flip n’ Fill Remix) – it’s a cover of the old Mariah Carey track brought right up to date. Choon!
